OSCAR Engineering & Sovereignty Manifesto

Summary of engineering constraints and architectural paradigms established to guarantee strategic autonomy and sovereignty in space.

1. ULEO Constellation Orbit Altitudes from 250 to 300 km to ensure natural passive deorbiting in a few weeks via atmospheric drag, avoiding space debris proliferation and propulsion payload constraints.
2. The Rule of 12 (BOM & Cycle) Development is based on the Rule of 12: 12 kg, 12 months, and 12,000 € maximum per satellite, using standard COTS everyday components and in-orbit reuse.
3. Space Agency as a Service Provides either a standalone constellation or a constellation that integrates seamlessly with existing ground or orbital infrastructures to fit all use cases.
4. Sovereign Space Missions Facilitates the creation of sovereign space missions. Enables each client to deploy their own dedicated constellation or co-create constellations with trusted partners.
